Digital Cases

GIE Dental Lab can receive digital files from all CAD systems as long as it’s able to export a .STL file. If you’d like to send us a digital file, please click “Send” below and attach the .STL file along with case details (or with a copy of the lab slip). If you have any questions, please contact us and one of our team members can help guide through the process.

Send .STL Files

Connect and submit your case digitally

  • • Search for "GIE Dental Lab" or by Company ID (24652) through “add preferred lab”. If either option is unavailable, please call iTero directly to add GIE Dental Lab as a preferred lab.

    • When the doctor scans any case, the file goes to Align Tech and iTero team will evaluate the scan. If the scan needs to be taken again, iTero will contact the doctor. If the scan is approved, it will be sent to the lab within 8 hours.

  • • Use the “add connections” feature to send request to giedentallab@gmail.com

    • Once we receive and approve the connection, the doctor will be able to send scans

  • • Login to your Medit Link account and use "search partners" to find GIE Dental Lab by name or email address: giedentallab@gmail.com

  • • Use “add favorite lab” feature to add GIE Dental Lab to your favorites.

    • Scan can be sent right away- simply choose GIE Dental Lab from the drop down menu.
